For the brothas there is a great shop in the green briar area where I go to get mine cut. I tried a shop in Marietta when I first got here and dude gashed me up... I was mad as hell. After that one of my partners out me up on the shop across from green briar mall. Its in the new shopping plaza right across from the mall right next to a nail shop. All of the barbers are good and they are usually packed but they have 6 chairs so the line moves fast.

The Real Barbershop 71 on Piedmont across from Cactus Car Wash, very diverse, they have black barbers, white barbers, puerto rican barbers, everything, and its a very professional enviornment. Bottom line is they do excellent work, my barber used to be Floyd Meywether's personal barber, and he makes my wave pattern look like a movie stars, and my line look like he spent 3 hours on it with a razor. The Arena on Northside in the Berkely Hieghts plaza is good also, a friend of mine goes there and they do good work also. If you wanna check out 71 PM and I'll give you the names of who to go see in there.

I alwasy go to GoodFellas in downtown Atlanta, across from Woodruff Park. It's new and clean. I always ask for Ike who is very polite and patient guy, and will take care of your needs. He also shaves your hair line and makes you feel very fresh. The plus side is that the shop has a poster with all hair styles for you to choose from. Once you select one style and stick with Ike, you don't need to describe what you want everytime.

Well, The $20 includes a $3 tip since they raised the cuts from $12 to $15. Before, he was getting $5 tip.
Man, I remember in HS (6 years ago), I could get a fresh cut every week for $10! *sigh* the good ol days...

I take my son (he's four) to Fadeologist on Winter's Chapel in Doraville. At least I think it's Doraville. It's $10, they do a good job.

This is a no frills barber shop on Cheshire Bridge Road. I have several friends that go. I think it's only 10 bucks.
Harvey S. Barber Shop

Atlanta, GA 30324

Most of the patrons ask for George. I hear that the other barber hands shakes
