Does anyone know when the Ponce City Market Food Hall is opening? There's no info on their website and some of the food vendors were scheduled originally to have opened in Spring.

I hope they get those chicken and rice cart guys like they have in NYC. They are already expanding to Atlanta, would be nice to have something reasonably priced to eat for lunch in there.

There will be no grand opening, but individual stores will open as they are ready.

The food hall section is open now. It was blocked off. None of the restaurants are open but you can see progress being made. It looks like at least 4 of the restaurants there should be opening very soon. This development will definitely raise the status of Atlanta when all the stores open

Totally dumb question but how does a food hall differ from the traditional food court?

The tenants aren't Sbarro, Chick-fil-a, Orange Julius/Dairy Queen, Auntie Anne's, Cinnabon, a corn dog place, and a fast Chinese food place.

I woud bet anybody on this board, or anybody in the world, $1,000 that if Ponce City Market did have a Chick-fil-a in it's food hall that it would have more volume, revenue, and profit margin than any other offering there.
