There should be programs in place to protect those on fixed income and have no criminal record from the rising property values.
Like what?

A homestead exemption that forbids property taxes from rising, or puts a cap on how much they can rise? Actually, Florida has this, and it works quite well there.

This is such a ridiculous claim by the developer. They can't create a music venue. They can only create a space that would be suitable for a music venue. Those are two very different things.

I do agree that Krog is overpriced period. Ugh.
Overpriced for whom? You? If occupancy rates are high, then it is easily argued that they are not.

Is there some secret law against a developer creating a music venue? I don't understand.

Same here, J2. Pace's has established a lot of good will with their projects, and this development seems perfect for the location.

The transformation of the Memorial Drive corridor is game changing, and I honestly never expected to see anything on the scale of what is happening.

Masquerade looks to relocate in the industrial landscape of the westside.

The site in question is a large low-rise building in the 1400 block of Fairmont Avenue, just north of Huff Road, not far from burgeoning Howell Mill Road and loads of investment activity that includes the new Topgolf Atlanta Midtown facility.
