Per the Charlotte Observer: Bojangles

What do y'all think? Are you a fan of the restaurant?

Good luck with that.

Let me see, a 37g of fat, 550 calorie bacon/egg/cheese biscuit and a coke from Bojangles this morning or the coffee and apple that I usually have, which will be better for my health?

I know people who were totally thrilled when they built a Bojangles closed to where I used to live.

I tried it. i thought it was disgusting.

There's another Bojangles close to where I live now. For a restaurant that seems to have so many fans, it doesn't ever look busy.

Bojangles did NOT debut in Atlanta in 2013. There was a Bojangles on Indian Trail in the early 2000s or late 90s. I don't know if it is still there.

Gulch, that is hilarious!

I have never been to Bojangles but I am sure the wise men running it know what they are doing.

I'm not a huge fan, but I bet the chain will likely do well in Atlanta. There is a big market here for fried chicken and people like different options. They will face some stiff competition as Chik-fil-a, Church's Chicken, Popeye's Chicken, and Zaxby's (Athens) are all headquartered in the area, as well as a few small franchising companies like WingZone.

Gainesville is the poultry capital of the world, so it is very cheap/efficient business to be in operation in this area too.

I have had it at the airport a couple times early in the morning when it was near my gate.

My issue is I cut back on fast food years ago. I didn't eliminate it, but it is rare enough that I'm much pickier what/when I have it and I don't think this will tempt me over at those moments.

Don't they still have to send the chickens to China for processing and then ship them back here?
