Apparently this isn't exactly new news, the store's last day in business is scheduled for Sunday.

What makes this interesting is with the closure of this store, Toys R Us won't have any stores ITP, except the one on Cobb Parkway, which is barely ITP.

I wonder if the OTP stores are next. I know times are tough for toy retailers.

The one in Morrow closed last year. They also closed the iconic FAO Schwarz on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. Several locations across the country have been closed or will be closing. A great childhood memory for many has vanished.

FAO Schwarz is moving. Last I heard they were trying to reopen in Times Square.

Toys R Us and Babies R Us stores have been consolidating into new single stores. I do not know if any stores throughout the Atlanta region have done that.

Toys R Us has struggled against Walmart and Target selling similar products at lower prices.
