Also, try not to touch anything. The system is filthy and disgusting. You can never be too safe. You might want to wear gloves and a face mask.

It's generally safe, safer than driving. Just keep your eyes to yourself and make sure not to make any of your possessions, especially your phone, easily snatchable when the doors are open.

MARTA is plenty safe.

In fact, if I was in trouble and there was a MARTA station nearby, that's probably what I would head for.

Haven't had a safety issue on MARTA. Good service (well, the trains at least).

I havent had any issues with the trains and buses... The people who claim marta isn't safe are also the ones sitting in traffic getting all stressed out...
