Local delivery startup Shipt is now offering a same-day grocery delivery service.

According to the company, customers can select items available at local Publix Super Markets Inc. stores using Shipt’s mobile app. The app allows customers to select specific items and provide notes regarding any preferences or substitutions. There is no limit to the quantity of items delivered, and orders can include fresh produce, meat and perishable items. Shipt sources groceries from local Publix stores, but its services are not affiliated with or endorsed by Publix.
Depending upon shopper availability, deliveries can be scheduled for one-hour windows as soon as one hour after the order.
