I drove by North Ave real late on the way home today and I saw the Bank of America Tower sparkling with their window lights flickering randomly on the entire body of the tower (not the golden top). Is this new? I liked it a lot, however it wasn't noticeable from the highway which would have been much cooler. I hadn't heard of this and thought I'd ask if this was new or normal.

I believe that occurs when they are testing the fire alarms in the building. I have observed a few office buildings around Atlanta doing this including the one I work in.
