The recent thread got closed, for the usual reasons
I still have my 2 cents to give

I wouldn't call it culture exactly
but
Atlanta
is a pale blue dot
in a whining red sea
strip malls
strip clubs
pickups & porsches
perps and wannabees
itp progs
& kobb kounty kons
glorious big bootys
& overflowing guts
rednecks
& the ratched
tangled traffic
thunder & lightning
& steam
rising from the streets

In my view, there is no culture INSIDE Atlanta but there's a lot of culture that comes OUT of Atlanta, such as ATL hip hop. We popularized trap music. I just know if a song is from Atlanta, or at least Atlanta-influenced just by hearing it.

Example: "All Gold Everything" by Trinidad James.

Atlanta is the capital when it comes to black entertainment.

Sadly this statement is true. A testament to how weak minded some have become. Ready for that bougie ratchet influence to rotate to another city. I miss the days of BET being owned by Bob Johnson and urban entertainment had variety. Now its all drug dealing, fighting over men and the culture of wasting money. Thats the image black media puts out.

I'll take a stab at it.

Business-oriented sunbelt city with a historical significance in regards to blacks and civil rights, and lots of entertainment options for sports, music, outdoors, and shopping lovers within its quirky in town neighborhoods and sophisticated suburbs which house a growing melting pot of residents from around the world.
