I'm actually happy that the Braves are moving now. It's amazing how much development is going on in the city. What school zone is this area in? It seems like a great place to raise a family. It's basically single family right beside dense walkability, not to mention it's proximity to West End and Grant Park, and this area is relatively cheap at the moment.

Maynard Jackson High School is the cluster (which has made vast improvements in recent times)

It's a great time to be in this area.

I second that. Let them go wallow in filth over in Cobb County.

I have another question for anyone familiar with engineering. Is it possible to cap Interstate 20 at Capital Ave (similar to 5th St at Tech Square) and is it practical?

Plans look great. May they get built soon and may the Cobb bashing finally cease.

They are missing the Georgia Ave / Ralph David Abernathy line, though.
Appears the LCI is recommending rubber-tired transit on RDA/Georgia Ave.

It is recommended in the LCI. But it is expensive at ~$21M to replace the entire bridge. They do suggest alternatives of keeping the existing bridge and building a new ped / bike only bridge as an option. But they may need to rebuild the bridge to support the streetcar anyways.

"They" will find other reasons to bash Cobb

I don't think this getting built will do anything to make me less likely to "bash" Cobb.

If Cobb doesn't want criticism then changes will have to come from Cobb itself.
