This would seem to make the most sense if they really are doing more than just Hunger Games, or at Six Flags in ATL.

According to the AJC, this Amusement Park has been put on hold indefinitely (Hunger Games Atlanta area theme park project Avatron halted).

Did anyone actually expect this to get built? I mean...I had to look up where Bartow County is. You'd have to have a pretty substantial attraction for me to drive that far.

Why not just buy the Pullman Yards and use District 12 as the location?

This place sounded really cool, but definitely far fetched. The movie franchises they wanted to finance are quite questionable as well. But a theme park utilizing state of the art effects...I'm in.

I think it'd be a good thing as well...

That said, I wanted to make a joke about how fitting it would be in rural Georgia... Almost too fitting really.

Wouldn't need to change much.

What is it exactly? A giant paintball palace? I have zero interest in this idea. Harry Potter in Orlando makes sense and I enjoyed that visit. A Hunger Games theme park makes no sense to me.

I personally hated Hunger Games... now a Walking Dead theme park or attraction would be awesome, but then again... an entire theme park based on one show or movie would get boring fast and leave little room for growth. A single attraction would make a lot more sense.

This sh** is so sick. An amusement park based on a book where children are sent to an arena to kill each other until only one remains? That's sick and the people who would support this kind of thing are evil as sh**.
