Pleasantdale and points north to Doraville.

Embry Hills to Chamblee.

The rest of the proposed LaVista Hills, Greater Druid Hills, Medlock, McLendon/Valley Brook corridor, Scottdale, Sandtown, Fulton Industrial, South Fulton north of Union City/Fairburn, Gresham Park, Candler-McAfee, most of Belvedere Park, White Oak Hills, and Constitution all to the City of Atlanta.
Plus the rest of unincorporated East Lake should go to Atlanta.

But I still think Medlock Park should go to Decatur. And I agree with Gresham Park going to Atlanta, and west Fulton, but I dunno about some of those eastern portions, suburban areas of DeKalb around 285 going into Atlanta. Decatur would become like a weird island surrounded by Atlanta. Would just be strange for Atlanta city limits to go out that far.

I'm just curious to know if Tucker will try to annex Northlake.

No.

By including the surrounding areas, I was implying the rest of East Lake as well.

Medlock Park should definitely become a part of CoA. It's really an extension of the Emory Area.

Decatur should annex Suburban Plaza Area, DeKalb Industrial Area, Midway Woods, and commercial areas right along Memorial Drive south of Midway Woods.

Avondale Estates should annex Forrest Hills, DeKalb Farmers Market/Laredo Area, Kensington Area, the Area along Rockbridge between Scottdale and Old Avondale, Avondale Mall/Wal-Mart, Belvedere Plaza, and commercial areas along Memorial Drive to I-285.

Decatur would not be an island. It's entire eastern border would be full-on Avondale Estates.

The areas south of Decatur need to be annexed by the CoA because they would otherwise be totally set adrift if left unincorporated. They would get better care and revitalization as a part of the CoA.

A lot of the rest of South DeKalb should be annexed by Clarkston, Stone Mountain, and Lithonia...Pine Lake would annex a sliver.

And--Three new cities should form in South DeKalb: Redan, Arabia Mountain, and Panthersville.

Is this the first cityhood vote to fail?

And--the rest of Livsey, all of Evansdale, and parts of the Henderson Mill Area.

Well I predicted the votes would either be 51/49 either way or 70/30 in favor. Tucker was roughly 73% in favor. LVH was 50.5% against.

I don't think Evansdale wants any part of Tucker. There were more LaVista Hills signs there than in any other part of the LVH area.

The city of South Fulton failed about a decade ago.... about the time Milton and John's Creek came to be.

Once again, I am in complete agreement with you.

I don't see any problem with Decatur and Avondale Estates being islands. The Park Cities here in Texas (Highland Park and University Park) are complete surrounded by Dallas. Decatur has had decades to be a sizeable city and has chosen to remain an island in unincorporated DeKalb. What's the big difference? And I'm just echoing your sentiments to the previous poster...
