There isn't really anything to do near the airport. You can ride Marta from the airport to downtown though ($1.75 one way) and do something. Near downtown there is the CNN center, Georgia Aquarium, World of Coke (over rated in my opinion), King Memorial. If these don't interest you, you can go up to Midtown and check out the High Muesum (art) or there is a shuttle to Atlantic Station (for some shopping). If you are interested in some serious shopping Lenox Mall is also on the Marta Line and a pretty big regional tourist attraction. Really depends on what you are interested in.
