Wrong! Juniper was a commuter street that only recently became overrun with residences. Why did people decide they wanted to live directly on a major commuter artery? "Television told me urban living is cool" is not a valid answer.

More hyperbole thrown in from yet another Florida troll.

Some of you really don't want to come to terms with Atlanta's maturation as a city.

Bull****. Residential development has existed on Juniper for the better part of a century.

The reason it's hyperbole AND a lie, is because you said: "cyclists have the selfish mentality that others should be inconvenienced or coerced (not to mention grossed out) so 1% of the commuters can have the roads to themselves."

Cyclists won't be getting "the roads to themselves." You were lying to all of us when you typed that. At most, cyclists will get one lane. Cars can still have the other lanes.

You overplayed your hand and now you have no credibility on this topic.

Amen, and millennials haven't decided to live in the city because they saw it on TV. They grew up in the burbs chained to cars and realized there must be a better way then spending a large part of one's life isolated in a car on one's commute.

Folks, keep in mind that the loudest contingent of the car only crowd is mostly a bunch of people that are desperate to get some time away from their families, and commuting in their cars is their only opportunity. It's the only time in their entire lives that they get to listen to their favorite music or have some quiet time, without being annoyed by their kids or spouses. But then, as soon as they get in the car, out come the cell phones, so they're still connected to what they were hoping to get a break from. This is one of the reasons why there are so many zombified sad-sacks out there on the roads. I'm convinced of this, but I know nobody will cop to it.

As a millennial, I can attest that millennials who want a non-auto commute don't live in Atlanta.
