It needs to be have a bar in it and turns into a lounge at night. A large percentage of the money they would make would be from alcohol sales. I used to like going to Strip at night because it had free parking downstairs and a mellow vibe if you didnt feel like the hassles of going to the average venue agter 11pm.

I agree. Prime pieces of real estate need prime buildings on them.

Agreed. It'd be nice to have an alternative to Nancy's (which isn't bad imo). Now, if we can bag a lou malnati's...

Unlike the glassy towers on the north side of 17th Street, the new buildings will be clad in brick. The two 10-story buildings would bring nearly 500,000 square feet of spec office space to the western side of The Connector.

I'm not too impressed. Atlantic Station has a dramatic entry and those don't fit in....

Provides a new contrast to the glass towers along 17th St.

This larger development is planned to rise between Market Street and The Connector, on the southern side of 17th Street. It would include two brick, glass, and steel buildings divided by a large park. A sprawling rooftop garden would occupy the 12th floor of the taller building, providing panoramic views of the Midtown skyline, officials said.

I like the look of it. As Atlantic Station continues to fill in, and additional development continues to fill in around it, I think it'll all eventually integrate wonderfully.

Wish all the city's streets were raised 2 stories above the ground like that. Perfectly hides the parking.
