So things are looking good for a job I put in for, I've already been progressed to the next stage of the hiring process, call center is located in Alpharetta, it's technical support for Verizon, Alpharetta is a great and safe area from what I see but also the more expensive, so I'm looking for recommended areas near there that is similar as far as being safe but if possible more affordable for someone who will be on a single income.

I est. I will be starting at around 30k per year and probably will work a part time job as well to help make up the difference. I will plan on renting at first after commuting about 2 hours from where I am to get my foot in the door.

If there are affordable apartments/townhouses in Alpharetta that would be great, I'm going to try and stay below $800/mo for rent. If not surrounding areas would work if like I stated, are somewhat safe and affordable without having to commute too far, would like to stay within 30 min of commuting times.

thanks!

I've considered that, and I would to get me on my feet.

I think pretty much everything in the general area of Alpharetta is pretty safe.

I am sure there are pockets in North Fulton that are not as expensive as others, but on the whole, would suggest Woodstock as the most affordable area within a decent drive to Alpharetta.
