At least Atlanta has the streetcar to solve these traffic woes. #theUltimateTransitSolution

Traffic actually wasn't bad at all. I rode past there a few times and it was handled pretty well.

Stadium looked pretty nice. Really compact and intimate. Much smaller footprint than turner. Might be more hitter friendly as well.

I noticed that looking at the traffic app.

Either.....

SP wasn't at least 70% filled which means less traffic and/or since SP has more things to do outside of watching the game maybe the traffic is now spread out from 3:30pm-7:30pm instead of everyone getting at TF right before the same started because it wasnt anything else to do in the area and/or everybody avoided the area because they thought it would be more traffic plus less additional people were on the road because of the fire from the other day

or

We were all wrong and Cobb has a great traffic plan because the the traffic is now spread because its more stuff to do there

75 was backed up going south all the way past 120 near 6 o'clock yesterday, and of course 75 north was its usual parking lot. I suppose once you got off the interstate and into the vicinity of SP it wasn't that bad. Shrug

The traffic was fine but there were only 21K people there as this game was a preview for season ticket holders. Lets see what April 14 brings when the crowd is double.

The stadium was beautiful.

This was a preseason game, we haven't seen the full effect when the stadium is sold out.

The Braves averaged like 25k last year lol. It's not like they're about to be capacity every game.

Yup. Moreover, this was on Friday night, just as Spring Break was getting underway, and less than 24 hours after the 85 collapse - all factors that should make traffic worse than usual. Honestly, that it came off as well as it did is pleasantly surprising, and hopefully is a good indicator for the regular season.
