The hard part is FINDING them, of course. I found my wife online, actually (seriously .. we met on Yahoo Personals nine years ago ), but most of the down-to-earth folks I know don't do bars or clubs ... you're far more likely to run into them in a grocery store or a fitness club or maybe a bookstore.

I'm not looking, but this makes sense to me.

Amd make sure that you're what most men are looking for. Because in an area where there are lots of women to choose from you need to be up on your game and have your looks tight.

Professional black men...
Define "professional"? Maybe you should check out the county jail on visiting day.

Well this quite dashing ( ) single young professional black man likes to mix and mingle as well. You should go online to nightlifelink.com and you can get a list of what spots are “up”, as there are so many in Atlanta spread out all over. But there really isn’t one particular place to meet professional men at, the rule of thumb here is when a new spot opens and gets live it’s only a matter of time before it gets too "up" and then the thugs aka the white tee gang starts coming in droves. Plus there is a shall we say an organized criminal element here (*ahem, cough* BMF) and they are some goons, but you wont catch them in the hood, and they go to the same places the 9-5 type guys go to; but the good thing is they don’t bring that stupid riff raff with them they keep theirs separate. But the trick is just stay abreast of the new spots, and you'll be fine. But right now I would say Crescent Ave. in Midtown on Thursday nights, Peters Street in Castleberry Hill on Sat. and Sun. nights, you also have Dolce in AS, 300 up in Dunwoody, the W Hotel on 14th, Maxim Prime in the Glen Hotel downtown, or Halo on 6th.

Correct. Go to any good gym at 6:30am (M-F) in a location near businesses. We may come in wearing sweats and holding an Ipod... but walk out in a suit holding a laptop bag. As a married man, I find gyms good for networking during those same hours... oh yea and for working out also, haha.
