almost 3 year old son.
Grew up in Chicago, rural Illinois, Milwaukee, and suburban Wisconsin before coming to Georgia (moved around a lot). In Georgia, lived in Fort Benning (Columbus), Austell, Kennesaw, Atlanta, and Marietta. Spent a year at Tulane in New Orleans before transferring home to KSU. Interned in Belgium for a month, spend another month traveling (Netherlands, France, & Italy).
Bilingual (French) technical writer in Marietta. Plan to move my family to Atl, but would live overseas if the opportunity came about.
Husband/Partner is a chef. We plan to open a casual restaurant & sports bar. I'd be co-owner, FOH manager & bartender (also probably marketing coordinator, web designer, etc).
Chicago, NOLA, & Paris are my favorite places!

Cool! I went to high school in Gary, Ind. (RIP) and our stepmom used to take us up to Chicago in the summer for The Taste. She also had a close girlfriend in Evanston that we would go and visit. Used to work in Columbus as head chef at a vegetarian restaurant and health food store called 'Country Life.' I too, lived in Austell and didn't care for it much at all. French was my major in college at one time, and I'm still determined to master it and Spanish to this day. It's going slowly though.....
