We close soon on our GA house....
What do I need to know about utilities?
Are they de-regulated as our electric is here in Texas?
If so, recommendations on who to use??
Not to use?

Any other pointers as we set up house?

No...you won't have a choice. It might be Georgia Power, Jackson EMC, Walton EMC...depending on where you live.

Where are you going to be living again? Your best bet is to call the Chamber of Commerce...

That is a relief. Honestly, the dereg. of electricity didn't drop rates here....and it just made things more confusing....plus you get into contracts, etc.
And all the delivery is still provided by the same company.
