You see the Braves traffic on this map? You see the traffic going into Cobb right now? Well next year all of the traffic that is coming into the city for the games will be going toward you next year! It's not even 5pm yet.

I work near the Cumberland Mall, so I foresee fun times, but I also work the hours you cite normally, so I may be able to dodge some of the bullets. I also don't commute on any interstates

On the positive side, I wanted to go to the game today but I could not leave early and deal with the traffic. Next year - I am in walking distance!

So let me get this straight...we're comparing a traffic map, during rush hour....on the downtown connector on a Monday...and acting as if that's what it's going to look like here every time there's a game? lol...as if the map doesn't look like that EVERYDAY downtown around this time. Some of you are trying way too hard.

I live in Vinings off Paces Ferry, and I'm going to be coming from Alpharetta. 285 towards Cobb is already a nightmare during evening rush hour, and that single lane access ramp coming from 400. It's going to be like the worst of that extended until 7:30 on game nights.

Just for the one season though, hopefully our new skyscraper in Midtown will be ready by April of 18. Then at leadt I can probably stick to the surface roads on game nights if 75 is real bad. Or I might just go I-20.

Same here, Lori.

Opening Day 2017 will be a short walk from the office for me. Already have my season tickets.

Kids already planning dinner at Superica or Fox Bros. BBQ before opening day first pitch.

If you're familiar enough with the traffic patterns, you can spot the differences pretty easily. However, given that this is the last home game at Turner Field, I doubt opening day at cobb will have quite as many vehicles on the road.

Probably should have taken a screenshot of that traffic map while it backed up your argument.
