Financial technology giant Equifax Inc. will bring more than 650 jobs to Midtown Atlanta as part of a $17 million expansion.

Atlanta-based Equifax (NYSE: EFX) will create up to 150 jobs and relocate the rest from its Sandy Springs and Alpharetta, Ga., offices. Equifax will lease 100,000 square-feet — or four floors — at One Atlantic Center, a 50-story skyscraper near its 1550 Peachtree St. headquarters.
Nice!

I still often call it the IBM Tower given that my old habits die hard.

Interesting, but I'm not quite sure what "Project Locomotive" is.

I've certainly never heard it reference in economic development circles, and there's no reference to it on the internet.

Let me google that for you

Equifax was headquartered in Midtown many years ago, had their own building. This is sort of a homecoming for them.

Well, it makes sense since the majority of the commercial areas in Midtown that properly zoned for high intensity uses, i.e. SPI districts, are located within 1/2 mile of a MARTA Rail station. These type of jobs needs to be transit-accessible and this is how a major city should develop.
