Best website to check real estate
I would like to compare prices and features of townhomes and condos in different areas of Atlanta. Does anyone know a good real estate website? Thanks.

You may want to try REALTOR.com - Real Estate Listings & Homes For Sale
It contains all active listings by every MLS in the country, and allows you searches by zip codes, by city, with some advanced search functions.

I use Metro Atlanta homes for sale, Search Atlanta MLS, No Registration Required, Golf Communities, Real Estate, Neighborhoods. because you don't have to register AND the let you search by street and show the addresses of the homes for sale....

I like Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. You do not have to register, and you can search by county, neighborhood, city, zip code, elementary/middle/high school, and/or price range.

Per the remark that Jenny Pruitt has the nicest listings on their site, all of the sites have the same listings.
Try Conrad Lyles | Atlanta Luxury Real Estate I like theirs because they have lots of photos, location maps and its very easy to use. Also, they only feature listings in the best neighborhoods so you don't have to search through as many areas to get what you want.

AtlantaMLS.com is the consumer portal for Georgia MLS. There are 2 multiple listing services in Atlanta, GaMLS and FMLS (First MLS). In general, intown agents use FMLS and suburban agents use GaMLS. Consequently, if you are looking for condos or townhomes intown, while you may find them on GaMLS (most intown offices submit listings to both listing services -- although not all do) they are less likely to have multiple photos and virtual tours attached because so many intown agents simply don't trick out their GaMLS listings like they do their FMLS listings.
Of the generic portals, Realtor.com is your best bet. HOWEVER, if you have a reasonable idea of what you're looking for, and you're looking intown, then your VERY BEST BET is to have your agent set you up with a custom internet gateway on FMLS. It's a custom portal that pulls up new listings every day based on the search criteria that you specify. It's much more precise than the consumer-side tools that are available.
Good luck!
