I'm super excited about more candidates entering, but I really don't feel confident about the current list to choose from for Mayor. My ultimate choice would be Clark Howard, if he decides to run.

Peter Aman would be an excellent mayor.

Keep the grandstanding and drama out of it and just run the city as an efficient organization.

That would be amazing.

Is he thinking about it? Hard to believe he would give up his existing much more lucrative career to do it, but you never know.

Last election cycle (or maybe 2 cycles ago), he was considering it but a cancer diagnosis caused him to call it off. As far as I know, he's in remission and doing great.

Clark Howard would be a tremendous Atlanta mayor. Fiscally disciplined and an ardent supporter of expanding transit in the city. Like you said, he's got a great career outside of politics. May fall into the "too smart to run" category.

I don't give two ****s about their skin color, sex, or ethnicity. All I care about are their platforms and experience.

I suggest you give it a try.
