Yea, they absolutely do. Except for the short 1-mile segment where they share headways, they are on 30 minute headways which is pretty useless to your average person.

And the COA's recommendations are pretty worthless too. Most buses won't see any real upgrades, they'll be the same, meandering, large-headway garbage we have now. Oh sure a few will get shiny upgrades to show off and look good, but most people won't be affected by them in the slightest.
Get your facts straight, it's 2 miles from North Ave to North Highland.

Route 60, the frequent local service from HE Holmes to Moores Mill is straight and a great upgrade for that corridor.

Mayor Reed: MARTA to take over operation of Atlanta streetcar

Quote:
11Alive news has learned MARTA will take over operation of the City of Atlanta's Streetcar.

Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed told 11Alive's Shiba Russell that he hopes the streetcar will eventually reach all the way to the Beltline.

"The city is funding MARTA's expansion, the largest expansion in its history, to the tune of $2.6 billion dollars. That referendum was passed with 70% voter support," Mayor Reed said during a live interview in the 11Alive newscast. "So, as a part of that process the streetcar system is being absorbed into MARTA as a part of the $2.6 billion expansion. So we're excited about it."
All I can really say is, finally.

I wonder how that would work to get a proof of payment? Tap your breeze card and get a receipt.

That's one way. The Seattle Streetcar did that when you just paid money.

The Phoenix system had passes that you could buy at the machines, and the transit police just had these little handheld readers that would scan the bar-code to verify a valid pass.

That's something that needs to be put into place as the system grows, if it's not already in place now.
