And yet, they "blame" the market. I also think their location selection is problematic (as I said above).

Their locations (and Sprouts in Smyrna) look ok on paper, but are annoying in reality.

It's terrible planning that the only light one can get to from Sprouts is backtracking past the gas station and eye center.

I'm glad you said this because I have been very underwhelmed with the selections tried over the years, and I wondered if it was just me.

Right?!?

It does not make me dislike TJs, but that's not their best selling feature.

Variety is good. I remember when the major drug stores were more than just CVS, Walgreens, and Rite Aid. For grocery stores, there's basically Publix and Kroger on one tier. I think Walmart and Aldi are on a different tier. Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Sprouts, and Green Market though not really that similar tend to land elsewhere.

We all just want quality food.

If I had my choice - I would love the return of Eatzi's to the Atlanta market or Harry's in a Hurry

Wow, I thought Eatzi's was completely gone as a corporate entity. Didn't realize that the Dallas part of the business had survived (or perhaps it's been revived).

Fully agree with you. The Alon's that took Eatzi's place on Ashford-Dunwoody is pretty good, but it doesn't hold a candle to Eatzi's. I still have dreams about their sandwiches on what they called "bone bread," which was similar to ciabatta but crustier and very flavorful.

I used to drop into the Harry's in a Hurry at Akers Mill from times to time, but it never really grabbed me. Neither does full-scale Harry's, which is even less appealing, to me, at least, with Whole Foods in control. Go figure that that's the closest quality grocery store to my house... Every time I am asked "did you find everything OK," I am tempted to reply, "no, and that's why my next stop will be Publix." But instead, I usually just drive the extra couple of miles to Publix to do all of my shopping there and completely skip Harry's / Whole Foods altogether.

Not sure of all the reasons that Eatzi's left Atlanta but at the time I specifically remember that Whole Foods had announced they were coming and Eatzi's noted they were not interested in fighting for market share against Whole Foods.

Harry's in a Hurry was a good thing. It never really occurred to that they were similar styled markets emainly because I had forgotten it ever even existed.

I liked the regular Harry's for the seafood and variety of produce.

Eatzi's bone bread was the best!

I'm still mourning the departure of Harris Teeter.

I don't do the frozen meals at all because of the sodium so maybe that's why it didn't appeal to me. I went....and started back going to the farmer's market as usual.
