Here is a West Georgia student who says he is tired of liberal campuses shutting down his conservative agenda.

He says this safe space stuff is a bunch of bull, but maybe he already has safe space?

Word that he was being summoned to the dean’s office sent University of West Georgia junior Lans Carcioppolo to his Facebook page.

“I’m tired of liberal campuses shutting down a conservative agenda. This safe space is a sham,” he said in a Facebook Live video. “That is not how you learn. Because I’m a conservative does not make me wrong. Because you are a liberal does not make you wrong. We have two different opinions. We’re Americans. That is our right.”

Interesting article. The fellow seemed more concerned that his voice was being quietened than the fact that someone put up a sign on the bathroom door that opposed his view points. I can tend to see his point. Perhaps, though, instead of silencing the sign maker, he could have been a bit more clever and thought of a more productive way to make HIS voice heard. If he could not do that, then he should simply have walked away. But, the article does, nonetheless, give food for thought. Thanks for sharing!

From this afternoon's ABC:

Less than a month after the Atlantic Coast Conference said it would pull some championship games from North Carolina due to the state's controversial LGBT bill, the ACC says three of the games will come to Georgia.

The McAuley Aquatic Center at Georgia Tech in Atlanta will host the ACC Women’s Swimming & Diving/Men’s Diving Championships from Feb. 13-16 and the ACC Men’s Swimming Championship from Feb. 27-March 2 while the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College in Rome, Ga., will host the ACC Men’s & Women’s Tennis Championships from April 26-30.

that's 100% what he's doing. he's taking down the bathroom sign and making a decision for everyone that some people shouldn't be allowed to use the bathroom because he's apparently obsessed with other people's personal business.

Well did anybody think maybe normal people would be unconfortable with the opposite sex using their facilities? Or do ther feelings/beliefs not matter because they are not the squeeking wheel? For every 1 trangendered person who may have felt uncomfortable, how many normal people will be forced to feel uncomfortable and why is their feelings/beliefs outweiged the few transgendered? 1/2 of a school walked out over that boy who was allowed to use the womens locked room. Did their feelings not matter? Men and women may not want to share ajacent stalls in new co-ed bathrooms, but did anybody take their feelings into account when they greased the 1 or 2 squeeky wheels in the name of social justice or political correctness? Instead they shout insults like "homophobic" to insuate they are lesser of a person or that they are scared (phobic) of gays. It's essensially bullying with the intent of silencing anyone who opposes this "righteous" cause. The fact that we are having this huge debate shows that a large setment of the population opposes this. What percentage of people oppose transgender legislation vs the amount of transgender people affected by the traditional pre-2015 rules?

Sorry for such a long post. Just pointing out that there may be many more people against the new transgender legislation than there are people it is supposed to benefit. While I don't have a particular opinion, I think we should take into account those who are against this just as we do those who want it.
