I guess he missed the memo that if he walks with a purpose and doesn't make eye contact, everything will be fine.

Some people just don't understand how to live in urban areas.

That is awful.

On the same page there's a link to another story about 3 people getting shot in Gwinnett yesterday.

What's happening?

Disgusting. Can't even enjoy walking around on a nice day thanks to thugs with no concern for anyone but themselves. More gentrification please!

This is unfortunate and needs to be delt with, however, disappointing the media continues to link MARTA to these things. Remember transit is still safer than driving. All the injuries and deaths on our roads don't get anywhere near this amount of news coverage.
Transit is 10-times safer than driving

If only walking around MARTA stations was as safe as actually riding it.

That's a joke, but this isn't: How can a venue like the Masquerade possibly be expected to be successful at Underground with this kind of stuff happening? I bet it lasts 6 months or less there.

That place is dangerous not surprised no offense but the problem is people don't pay attention they assume everyday is a regular day. Accidents happen "stay alert, stay alive".

The comments here are appalling and please stop with the hasty generalizations. This is not common for this area and could have happen anywhere.
