I think the more things are set in Atlanta will help attract more films and media,

Cities like NY, LA, SF, Chicago, Miami, Seattle have a cool factors to them which makes the setting in a lot of films, Because Atlanta was so popular in Hip hop and Black culture many black films were already being set in Atlanta even before the tax cuts.

How ever because of that I think that opened the door for even more diverse films like "Change up" to be set in Atlanta. Or even TV shows like "the Walking Dead."

it's one of the things separating Georgia from other states doing to tax credit. beside Georgia giving Savanah and the coast. Atlanta is a large city that can grew in media and Entertainment.
What's interesting is how many movies and TV shows set in California or NYC but are shot in Atlanta. The list is endless.

Any other GA high schools that have been used as film locations? They seem to prefer derelict buildings.
If the school on Mary Dell Drive is what you're talking about, it has essentially become a movie studio. A bunch of stuff has been filmed at that school in the past 18 months.

Grady High has also been used quite a lot. Classical looking old high schools (which Atlanta has several of) are great for moviemaking.

My alma mater was Beacon Hills High School in Teen Wolf.

'Teen Wolf' Renames Briarcliff High School - North Druid Hills, GA Patch

Remember the Titans:

Druid Hills High (for the building)
Sprayberry High (for the stadium)

They used several high schools for this movie; the ones you mentioned, and Grady High in Atlanta, Etowah High in Woodstock and Paulding County High in Dallas.

Patrick Henry HS in Stockbridge was used for the Netflix series Stranger Things.

Yes. Sixty-something TV shows are filmed in Atlanta. Guess you haven't been paying attention?

I'd love to see that... making out with Mama June gross?

Sorry if it was mentioned, but the show on CBS after the patriots game called Hunted is heavily based in Atlanta. Cheesy in the classic CBS way, but pretty interesting at times.
