Briarcliff traffic is too heavy for a roundabout. It is bumper to bumper for miles (virtually the whole stretch from N. Druid Hills to Ponce southbound in the afternoon and sometimes from Johnson Rd. to N. Druid Hills northbound in the morning) and it is only 4 lanes for a brief stretch from Shepherd to just beyond the Johnson Rd. intersection. People on Johnson and Zonolite would never get out. That light also serves as an exit for the Sage Hill shopping center.
