CobbLinc 10X will be an express service route with stops at Big Shanty/Town Center P&R, KSU-Marietta Campus, MTC, Windy Hill/Cobb Pkwy, SunTrust Park, CTC, Midtown and Arts Center Stations.

County transportation staff haven’t ironed out all the details, but expect the service to run Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. During the two daily rush hours, buses will run every 15 minutes, and then every 30 minutes during the slower times.

Cobb approves millennial-centric express bus route to Midtown

Good news but why not sooner than March 2018?
Why not past 7pm, especially on game days? Or even weekends on game days?

All excellent questions for your Cobb County Commissioners.

I'm going to try to use this some next year, from the Cumberland Transfer Center (which is a 22 min walk for me), to MARTA Midtown station, which from there I'll walk to my job on 8th street.

I hoped that it would stop at Midtown station first, but unfortunately it looks like it's going to stop at Arts Center first.

All I know is, I'm definitely not going to go down the stairs and wait for a train just to go one stop down the street.

Cool! Glad they will run during non rush hour times. Amd one every 30 minutes really isn't bad for an express bus in Georgia. Not sure if I will use this service but it is nice to have the option. I would hope that this helps alleviate trafficin the morning. A whole lot of something is better than a whole lot of.nothing.

That would be really nice actually but I think the idea is to make as much money as they can from the route. Most work. 9-5 m through f and not on weekends. Same with students mon through fri. They must not see enough profit it in to do so.

And it runs BOTH ways during revenue hours.

I guess? I'm not saying this is a bad move (it's not), but this in no practical way fills the service gaps that exist for the 3rd most populous and dense county in the metro.

yeah, that's really cool. I used to use gwinnett express long ago. I can't speak for all the routes but he one I used to use only had one service one way in the morning and the other service back home during the afternoon/evening hours., which sucked.
