All of that stuff could be done without raising taxes. It's just a matter of putting the tax money where it needs to be, rather than where it actually goes, and where it isn't needed.

Are there public restrooms in the city that aren't in piedmont park? They have to go somewhere.

Yeah, there are a few of those automatic toilets spread around. There's one in woodruff park, and one by the Fire Station on Edgewood.

I still find it incredible how many people would rather pay far more for healthcare than any other developed nation, because doing it the other way would mean "those people" get to share in the benefits, when they haven't "earned it".

Haven't you heard? The USA is the best at everything. "American Exceptionalism." So if we start doing things here that work well in other countries, that's an admission that maybe we're not as exceptional as we like to tell ourselves and everyone else. Our collective ego can't handle that.

City of Atlanta should put a new Shelter on the Northside of town, so they can know what S Dekalb * Clayton residents felt like when the C.O.A just tosses its problems to another area and then brag afterwards what a good job its doing why the area changed for the better.

For those that say its a bad idea, remember just like people from the projects were pushed to S Dekalb and Clayton, it would be about giving the homeless folks a new chance in a better environment.
