Inman Park Festival for sure and other neighborhood festivals (avoid virtually all food and drink themed festivals tho)

East Palisades trail to see how much nature is actually happening ITP

Dollhead Trail for the weirdness factor

Drinks at the Sundial (don't hate)

Drinks at Trader Vics

Pizza and drinks at Jack's (must not expect anything nice)

Drive up to Hwy 60 from Dahlonega to Blue Ridge

Dragoncon Parade!!!! and just hanging out around downtown during that weekend

There used to be a big event called the Atlanta Festival of Trees - it ran for 30 years and was a fundraiser for CHOA. It used to be at the Georgia World Congress Center. That was back in 2007

Since then there are have been many scaled back events throughout Atlanta although I see there is a new smaller FOT at the Embassy Suites this year.
