These US cities have the absolute worst traffic

Portland? I don't know much about the city so I'm curious to hear about its traffic congestion.

It appears the ranking is for cities instead of metro areas.

That one surprised me, too, as they are always being touted as having such a handle on such things.

Yea I laughed when I saw that. BR traffic isn't that bad at all...New Orleans is way worse, especially since the influx a few years ago

I agree about New Orleans. I was there a few weeks ago and was not expecting their traffic to be such a pain! But it also could have been due to the weekend I was there (Labor Day).

Massive problems following the influx of Katrina people from New Orleans. I-10 across the river has always been a problem.

Ah, that makes more sense. CoA commutes tend to be pretty alright, actually, as does getting around in the city itself.

No, Portland is anti-car so they don't spend on road infrastructure. They do invest in bike and transit infrastructure.
