"United Kingdom-based fashion retailer ASOS Plc said Tuesday it will open a new $40 million North American e-commerce fulfillment center in Atlanta.

The facility will be located in Union City with operations starting in the fall of 2018. In a statement, Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal said the center will create more than 1,600 jobs.

ASOS says its mission is to become the world's No. 1 online shopping destination for fashion-loving 20-somethings. It sells more than 85,000 branded and own-label products through mobile and web experiences, delivering from its fulfillment centers in the U.K., United States and Europe to almost every country in the world..."
