Best preschools in East Cobb area (Sandy Springs, Roswell: live, kindergarten, areas)

Does anyone have any information on preschools in East Cobb? I am most interested in one that would have a program for 5 year olds (who missed the cutoff). Thanks we are also looking in Roswell, Dunwoody and Sandy Springs so info on schools in these areas would be helpful as well.

Thanks! It is all so baffling. I spoke with a school last week that had a developmental kindergarten then pre first then first????? I was pretty confused!

I am not sure this will work for you, but I am very pleased with the Galloway School, which is located next to Chastain Park. It's about a 15m ride (I think) from East Cobb, traffic depending.

I am happy with it because it is diverse and warm and nurturing. Best thing is that it's a prek-3 to 12. I have small children in the pre-k program and am thrilled with all they are learning.

Bad part is the cost, which is about 9k per year.

Many parents at Galloway come from Sandy Springs, Buckhead, and East Cobb which is why I mention it. At the very least, come check it out.

However, if you think you are in the area long term, this may be an option for you to explore as many people here do end up sending their kids to private school. Being in East Cobb, I think your public schools are pretty good though so that's something to consider.
