This seems really unexpected, I hope this doesn't hurt transit's chances under the Gold Dome this year. KP seemed to be an real asset in that regard
Can Jero talk crap about Trump?

Surprising. Maybe he is not optimistic about federal funding and doesn't want the blame if things stall.

There's a political board for that. People here seem to forget.

We can still get a lot done (if we don't pay for Dekalb's portion of the Clifton Corridor) with local funds. Even without federal funding, we can add a lot of transit to the city.

Yes, but people will be disappointed with the amount if that happens. And the MARTA head will get the heat, justified or not.

Good thing that wasn't ever part of the plan.

Right, we're just paying for the part that was agreed to be CoA's, which happens to include sections that would be in DeKalb. Luckily, Emory is looking to join the city, so we don't have to worry about DeKalb stalling the first phase.

Interesting, facts say otherwise.

You know, I'd drop this if someone could show me something that says that portions of the Clifton Corridor was intended to be funded without money from other jurisdictions. But I don't think that will happen, cause everything I have ever seen says the complete opposite. A new version of reality is being pushed though, now that Emory wants some of our transit money...
