Another tornado touched ground near downtown Atlanta today, only 14 hours or so after the first one. WEIRD. One of their traffic cams actually caught it live as it was touching down, but shortly after it did, it went back up into the clouds right before it hit near where the first one hit the night before.
If it works, check out their tower cam photo here: New Photos: Possible Atlanta Tornado, Fatality In Polk, Damage At GWCC - Photos - WSB Atlanta (thumbnails at bottom let you flip through the series from it)
Here's video from that towercam of it when it was being aired live: RAW VIDEO: Possible Tornado Spotted In Downtown - Video - WSB Atlanta
Here's their slideshow area that shows a whole series of local's submitted pic so far: Your Hail, Severe Weather Photos - Photos - WSB Atlanta

I was watching the Alabama/Mississippi State game when this happened. The tornado hit while the game was in overtime. Had the Alabama player not hit the three-pointer at the buzzer to tie the game, many of the fans would have left the stadium and been outside unaware a tornado was heading for them.

It's a miracle there were no deaths. Sorry to hear about what happened in your city last night all ... I pray that all goes well with clean up.

I'm not sure but I do think that there was one person downtown who is in critical condition and may not make it.
Regarding todays storms, an older couple were sucked out of their home as it was destroyed today in Polk County (West rural area), and thrown into a field. The woman died - the man is in serious condition. I had heard a blurb about a couple of more deaths but didn't get into the room in time to hear details before they had moved on to other things.
