I agree and the CNN backdrop with that huge Mercedes emblem in the background is a very good look for Amazon HQ2 Atlanta. I would imagine New York keeping headline news though.

Wow! That was a well kept secret. Did anyone see anything unusual. I wonder if they rode Marta, etc. I guess Zell Miller service kept this under the radar.

Amazon scouted downtown’s Gulch and multiple sites in Midtown as part of the visit, two of the people said.
Doraville Assembly and Stonecrest and others were earlier said to still be in the running, so it seems like this article made it sound like they didn't bother to show those sites?

I wonder if Atlanta officials buffed the anti-Amazon graffiti created by the Atlanta Against Amazon edgelords.

I'm sure they were impressed of the level of development going on in the Spring/W Peachtree Corridors.

If you understand how Amazon makes all their money, it won't be drying up anytime soon. The earnings are unreal, they are one of the top 10-15 in the country by far and continuing to push higher.

This is what is very interesting about Amazon, you know wherever they choose will see major infrastructure improvements from them, culture, etc.

I get the cost, but this company is not going away.

I mentioned in a previous post in this thread that there was some question about Amazon choosing Atlanta or Texas regarding their views toward same sex couples, at first it was dismissed but it looks like it is indeed coming to head as an issue.

As for Amazon coming here, I really don't know what I feel about it. I have a whole bunch of mixed feelings over the whole matter. I think its good in some ways but I think it's also not quite what everyone thinks in others.

Overall I'm indifferent about it. It will be what it will be.
