Either way, it sounds to me as if Amazon did not look at progressive so much as which cities they could hold the biggest influences in. They played this game as if they were really considering a bunch of cities but in the end, sounds as if they had already decided from the get-go their two cities (and I guess Nashville got the leftovers-not to be taken in a negative way because pretty sure any city would want that kind of "leftover.").

Here we have language that mandates the next 6 governors to deliver LEGISLATIVE action, or else Amazon is released from their end of the contract. But they could still sue us for the rest of the payments even after they're released.

One of the worst contracts I've ever read.

All of these companies that have relocated to and expanded in red states says something quite different than what you're claiming.

You're still trying to lessen this win for Nashville. It comes across as being petty and jealous and it's very unnecessary, not to mention the fact it gives ammunition to the Atlanta haters. It's just not a good look.
