I recall hearing a few weeks ago about a big announcement for a corporate relocation. Could Atlanta land Amazon? Speculate away....

Plus I wonder how much our state government would pony up in incentives...

That being said, on paper Atlanta is perfect.

We've got the airport and MARTA and tons of great schools and housing. We also (at least so far) don't have any knothead laws about bathrooms and the right to refuse to bake somebody a cake. We've got great warehouses, roads, sports stadiums, universities, and other amenities. So what's not to like?

Whoa, this is huge. 50,000 jobs, and these aren't in a warehouse yall... This would be massive for Atlanta's growth in the tech industry.

As long as they place the HQ near MARTA and not in North Fulton or Cumberland.
