Default Hail photos

Another cell just came through downtown Atlanta.

Here are 2 pictures of the hail that accumulated at my house in Inman Park. The hail is back again as I am typing!

Take cover!!!!

WOW! It was coming down over here across Moreland in Candler Park, but I don't think quite as much...

We were in the basement for a few minutes...one of the few homes around here with a basement....

This is why I love this site. You can get up-to-the minute photos of Atlanta events as they are happening!!! We got hail in Decatur too. Any word on whether there was an actual tornado today? Heard the warning sirens, but that doesn't necessarily mean there were funnel clouds.

I heard that on the radio - baseball sized! The stuff coming down here was grape sized.

We heard the warning sirens, too, and headed down to the basement. Called the neighbors and told them to come, too. But it was over fast.

I don't know if it was a tornado or not but that hail sure is a premonition and we were under a WARNING...

According to what I saw on the news a while back you did- they were taking shots from a camera at the airport, and there was definitely a tornado blowing across at one point. We had several out our way in Cherokee County earlier, but no damage here- golf ball size hail for a minute and an eerie green sky during one of them, but that's it. Right now it's sunny and blue sky up here- crazy.....lol.
