No they not.. a flag burners is a flag burners... one is clearly whole levels over. They just kneel which is actually a freedom that could be express for being American itself cause America is not Totalitarianism society.

But again trump defend far worst then flag burners he defended CSA generals..... I'm just fascinated by people on right pretending be to extra patriotic and offended but completely gave trump a pass for defending CSA generals and even doing so themselves. Which is actually by all means a 100x time worst and insulting to the country, then "kneeling"

In fact the idea getting fired for kneeling is bizarre and against free speech. And even stranger that president think he has the power to dictated when organization can fire some one. That dictator like behavior.

And what kills me what nobody is talking about is how the heck is he up and arms over players kneeling protesting discrimination but he stood up for statues of CSA men who literally committed treason something far worst more insulting to America and did not care for difference then between protesters. So the whole patriotic card he trying to pull is bs, he pander to racist

And Trump blew up the issues bigger than it was, this actually old news NFL player Colin Kaepernick and other players have been doing this over a years. The Sports and entertainment seem to be moving along quit fine. what happen is recently basketball player steph curry said he was not going to visit the white house after winning the NBA championship. Trump got in fit and started ranting about sports on twitter and a rally.
They can do it but they can also be fired for it. Ask the teachers who have been fired for supporting Trump's immigration policy even outside of school time on social media.

You have no right to do whatever you want to do on your employer's time and expect to continue to get paid.

Ike had a portrait of Robert E. Lee in the Oval Office. No bigger patriot than Dwight Eisenhower. He was also the president who sent troops to enforce the integration of Little Rock Central High.

In any event, its not what they are doing it. Its when they are doing it. They are insulting a large number of their customers when they are supposed to be entertaining them. Now Arthur Blank doesn't have any problem with that, so there are no employment issues. But some people won't do business with a business that insults them.

Good luck with that when today some teams had half the team or more either kneeling or expressing solidarity with those who kneel.

Just like the teachers and professors who have been fired for anti-Trump comments, right? Because theres been a good few.

Point is, employers (NFL) get to decide what to do with their employees (players), not the customers (fans). Its too early to say how much the NFL will suffer because as its already been said, ratings and attendence have been going down since HDTVs and streaming services were invented.

My thoughts exactly. The fatherless crisis in the black community is a myth that's been debunked, but people are too invested in the racial stereotype to question its validity.

Survey finds dads defy stereotypes about black fatherhood - latimes
