Sorely needed. I use Inman Park Station a lot and half of it seems like it's falling apart.

Good, then, for the improvements! I have not been to that station in a couple of decades, so didn't have an idea about its condition. Thanks!

So they're not closing the north bridge, but closing the parking lot? Anyone have any idea what that's about?

Nope, but I do know that parking lot is the next parcel to be studied for TOD.

Yes. Considering that the station straddles two of our best intown neighborhoods, it should be a showcase, not an eyesore.
A front door is your first impression.

FWIW this station straddles two park and ride stations with parking lots directly on either side. MARTA should be encouraging TOD on both lots rather than new orange paint on each bridge.

MARTA does not own the north lot. GDOT owns it as a vestige from 40+ years ago when I-485 was planned to run through Inman Park (the lot is within the old right-of-way).

At our NPU meetings, the MARTA rep has been mentioning that the North Lot is the next TOD study.
