One of my high school friends, now a pastor living here in Atlanta, has this as his FB profile pic also!

MARTA bus blocks feed of Georgia Dome implosion at worst possible time

I was actually shocked by Goldie Taylor's completely classless tweet about it.

I don't know if she was trying to be funny, but when you run marketing for an agency that already has a reputation problem, you don't provoke a huge media outlet like the Weather Channel.

That's the type of thing some young social media manager would do and get fired for...not a professional who went to Emory and has worked for Procter & Gamble!

You know that The Weather Channel is getting way more legs and exposure from the MARTA bus incident than they would have gotten from the implosion itself!

Really?????

I'm on the wrong side of this one????

Hmm, maybe...I thought it was totally unprofessional for a person of her background. And I'm not usually uptight about stuff like that.

Tomorrow will bring another tweet about another subject. Let's move on from Goldie.

This Georgia Dome thing is bringing national exposure like no other. I saw a news release from Marta that said that the driver will not be made available for interviews. Too bad; they could have some fun on the late night circuit!

Bus 1445 needs to be retired and put in MARTA's extensive bus collection.

Exactly!

The Weather Channel even put their own video of it up on YouTube, complete with the bleeped-out cursing from their own employee! *lol*
