Default Soooo ... I've lived in the metro since 93 and...

...I've never been to Six Flags...

Been to Disney World, Universal Studios, Epcot, ect countless times. Been to World of Coca Cola, Cyclorama, The Aquarium, Stone Mountain, all of the stadiums, but never ever saw Six Flags.

Go check it out next season. The roller coasters are thrilling fun (that's the whole reason to go). The more willing you are to ride them all (at least once), the more fun you'll have and better value for the admission price.

The first roller coaster I ever rode in my life was the Hulk and it didn't scare me in the slightest, infact I wanted it to go faster. Maybe SixFlags is the thrill I need.

It's fun, go on an off day. In comparison to Disney World, Six Flags feels like a county fair that has a permanent location So don't expect too much in regards to the grounds and themeing. But the rides are pretty fun, Goliath and Batman are the best in the park IMO

Be sure to get the FlashPass! It's worth the extra money.

I'll say this...

Don't even bother going unless you get the platinum fast pass or you'll spend 6 hours riding 3 rides. So whatever admission is these days....add $25 for parking and $100 for the fast pass.

Unless you go on a off day. Early in the year, when it is open and the local schools are still in session, as well as late season.

Last time I went, I went in August (after school started back) and we didn't spend more than 20 minutes in any line. It was amazingly fun day.

What about that big Ferris Wheel in downtown near Centennial Park, any one of you ever rode on it?

The thing about theme parks now is they have several thrill rides to choose from and operations are great at keeping the lines moving. I can remember when there where only 6 or 7 coasters and everyone will flock to the same ones. It isn't that way now.
