I won't lie...as beautiful as those trees may be, I would cut them down in a heartbeat. HAHA. When we get strong storms and I see trees swaying in the wind, I get nervous.

Is anybody here a fan of the "Red Robin - Yum" commercial? I don't mean the food, just the ad.

That was tried a good while back when Greg was the Atlanta Moderator. The idea failed spectacularly. Though if you're talking about a MARTA sticky for quick chat, I could buy into that as long as the rule isn't that the thread is the only place for MARTA conversations.

The media coverage of the MARTA bus blocking The Weather Channel camera shot is great advertising for the transit system!

I'm surprised that the media hasn't tracked down the driver yet. America's newest internet sensation.

An interesting poll on Curbed.

Quote:
A swelling population and thriving suburban job market help set Atlanta apart, and in general, millennials (whose peak age group has reached age 27) are “swapping the live-work-play urban centers they were drawn to in their early twenties for the space, better school districts, and affordability that suburbs provide,” notes the report.

Atlanta Agent Magazine summarizes these findings and others as follows: “As millennials get older, they’re trading in their train passes for minivans ...” Youch.

And all of this follows an Atlanta Regional Commission report last year that indicated droves of millennials are choosing to put down roots in even far-flung but cheaper places such as Barrow and Cherokee counties.

More....Poll: Atlanta millennials, how would you honestly feel about uprooting to the ‘burbs?
