Forbes has a news piece online today stating that with the Delta - NRA - Cagle issue brewing, Forbes now believes that Boston has a leg up on Atlanta for landing the HQ2 project.

Agreed. If I were the CEO of a large corporation, I'm not sure I'd want to locate in a state where the legislature goes hostile on you for doing anything that offends their views on social issues.

The Cagle NRA Delta controversy most likely removed metro Atlanta from the running for Amazon's HQ2.

He will. He seems to me to be always cautious and succinct when making a statement on these matters. At least he was on the Religious Freedom episode.

Here is his official statement regarding that debacle.

I hate when politicians do this kind of crap. In San Francisco, I was so excited when Chick-Fil-A was going to open a restaurant there because I actually missed it and then the mayor banned Chick-Fil-A because of the CEO's comment regarding homosexuality. This is no different regarding Delta not supporting the NRA, it's so stupid.

Actually there is a huge difference.

Chik-Fil-A spends corporate dollars to support rabid anti-gay factions in Africa. They also have a president who supports discrimination against gay people (who are a protected class of citizens in the US).

Delta stopped giving a discount to NRA members. They did NOT stop selling plane tickets to NRA members.
