I still find it strange that I can buy alcohol at the grocery store on a Saturday morning at 8am, but cannot on a Sunday morning at 8am.

Because, according to previous posts here, you need to respect the people who have chosen to go to church that day. Apparently, their choice should affect what you do.

Alcohol laws in much of the northeast and Midwest are far more restrictive than down south believe it or not

^ He's right you know.

New York: You can buy wine and liquor, but not beer, only at liquor stores no less than 200 feet from a school or place of worship. You can buy beer only at grocery stores. And not before noon on Sunday. How you like them idiosyncratic alcohol laws?

Pennsylvania: Hold my beer distributors.
