This is a small-minded & stunningly awful act of revenge that was just taken by Ms. Price in the legislature. Frankly, it's not the first time that she has revealed her true character, or the lack of it, and I would suggest that the voters of Roswell can do better at the polls when next she is on the ballot for re-election. Seriously, she needs to go!
It would seem that birds of a feather flock, and sometimes marry together, as in reference to her husband Tom Price who was unceremoniously dumped from the trump Cabinet after his scamming of the public became known via his outlandish travel expenses.

Just absolutely nasty people, both of them. They're a pox on, and yet another embarrassment to this State. She needs to be voted out of office yesterday.

As long as the bill passes, then it's not really a big deal.

Just the way politics sometimes goes. She is allowed to vote on anything however she wants to vote, for whatever reason. And the voters are allowed to keep or boot her from office, and campaign backers are allowed to fund or not fund her. Etc.

Typical Betty Price, who has a history and reputation for being outspoken and saying controversial things and being unapologetic about it.

Voting against legislation out of spite or because one's version of a bill was not originally supported happens quite often and is far from out of the ordinary in legislative governance.

It's just that someone like Betty Price is crazy and indifferent enough to get caught telling that reason to a widow's face while being recorded.

Betty Price may be insensitive and socially inept by most any measure, but at least she's totally honest and transparent about what is on her mind at any given moment. One has to give her that much.

Most legislators in that situation would have lied and made up a reason why they voted against the bill. At least Betty Price told the truth about her insensitivity.

The arrogance of this woman leaves me slack-jawed. I just wanted to reach through the TV screen and throttle her. How many others in our legislature are like-minded but are not as candid about it?
